The best way is to create a very simple formula for the date. My
instructions are very ABC.
1) Create and name a new formula in formula editor
2) Middle box in formula editor is Functions. Click the little "+" next to
"Type Conversion" to open it up
3) do the same next to "CDate" to open it up
4) double click "CDate (dateTime)"
that will display CDate () in the box below with the cursor in the
middle of the parenthesis
5) In the first box chose the date report field that you want to customize
6) Save and close on top - your date formula is done.
Now put the formula in the report, right click format field and choose the
date format you want.
Hope it works.
Jean.

I’ve been playing with the following:
ToText(CDATE({wam_rLoans.EndDate}),"d MMM yyyy")
You may want to hit F1 and check the Date syntax for ToText to meet your
own needs, and you’ll need to update the field, since I used a custom view.

Subject: date value function in CRXI
Does anyone have a solution for getting Crystal to display venue
dates in Month Day, year format? The DATEVALUE function does this
nicely for iso dates in the loan table, but I can only get nn/nn/nnnn
from the venue dates? Also, have already set the report options to
display dates in the Month, day, year format.
Thanks
cathryn
