By all means - we want all the functionality out of Crystal that we can get from within the TMS interface. Oftentimes parameters that work within Crystal don't when invoked from TMS.

Subject: Crystal Parameters on TMS Reports

(Sorry for the blank email previous to this one)

During the Q&A session at the end of the CI conference in Montreal a
question came up about discarding the TMS interface for Crystal
parameters and utilizing the native Crystal interface to pass parameters
to the reports. There was some hesitation from the TMS folks about
doing that because it would break the Heading and Title functionality of
the canned Gallery Systems reports. However it was mentioned that if
there was significant interest from the user community they would
seriously consider modifying the code to present the native Crystal
parameter interface.

I'm sending out this email with the hope that those of you who develop
reports and desire to be able to pass parameters to your reports will
respond to it and show Gallery Systems that we as users and developers
really do want the functionality.
