we just ordered about 2 Metres of Khaki Stabiltex for a project about a
month ago from Plastok Associates in Liverpool, England.  I know that's
not terribly convenient for you, but if they're the only place with it
in stock...

You can buy Stabiltex from them by the yard and their staff are very
helpful.  I'm not able to get to my desk to check the price, but it's
about £35.00 a Metre.

Has anyone else tried to order 4/3 Khaki Stabiltex from TALAS recently?
 I just got off the phone with them, and it has been unavailable for
awhile.  TALAS also said the company may have stopped making it.  I
really need a yard for a treatment, so has anyone found another source
for either Stabiltex, or another similar sheer fabric, which could be
used for encapsulating a textile?
