Hi Jeffrey,
David Parsell just gave a detailed and informative presentation about the z39.50 plugin at the Collective Imagination conference, outlining all he had to do to get the plugin to work successfully at Yale. I'm not sure if TMS SP3 makes any difference with the plugin.
According to this morning's newsletter from GS, the conference presentation files will be made available on the GS Support site in the next couple weeks, so you can look for it there!

I have been trying to get up & running with the Z3950 plugin, but am so
far disappointed with its performance - inconsistent results, sometimes
matching records I know are already entered, sometimes not.
Does anyone have advice as to any subtleties that might make this
application work better? We recently upgraded to TMS SP3, and I wonder
if it doesn't work so well for that reason alone.
