Hello Susan,
One of my master’s students would like to apply to the NMAI fellowship.
She is doing her last year internship in ethnographical objects, here in
Portugal. In the first part of her internship she analyzed organic dyes
with HPLC-DAD-MS under my supervision and a mass expert. In this moment,
she is performing a 6 month period of practical work in conservation and
restoration of ethnographical objects, in Oriental Museum, in Lisbon
(http://www.museudooriente.pt/?lang=en).
She will finish the master course in conservation and restoration,
specialization in ethnographic objects, only in the end of June. Therefore
the transcription of the graduate course of academic study as requested in
your announcement will not be complete on 15th of March. Also, one of the
publications will be submitted after 15th of March. I would like to know
if you have any recommendation concerning these subjects.
I hope everything is ok with you,
Best,

Micaela
