I am pleased to announce that registration is now open for a new online 
meeting series starting in late February. "Managing Risk" will introduce 
and discuss the problems of risk specific to private practitioners or 
independent businesses, and ways to manage it.

The basics are:

Series name:     Managing Risks (MR-2012)
Where:              Meetings take place online, in a secure, 
password-protected site.

What and When:
         I.     Tuesday February 21 at 12:00 noon, US Eastern 
Time           Identifying Risks: Identifying the risks to your business 
or independent practice
         II.   Tuesday February 28 at 12:00 noon, US Eastern 
Time           Reading and Writing Contracts: Using contracts to control 
risk in your business or independent practice
         III.  Tuesday March 6 at 12:00 noon, US Eastern Time           
      Understanding Insurance: Using insurance to control risks in your 
business or independent practice Join us for one, two or all three 
meetings.

Pricing:
         Meeting series: $90
         Any two meetings $70
         Single meetings $40

The meeting leader is Sarah Lowengard, Big Boss of Research and Writing. 
Sarah has created and taught courses, workshops, and tutorials in 
business management and academic research for more than twenty-five years.

The Managing Risk online meeting series is based on course material 
created by the Foundation of the American Institute for Conservation of 
Historic and Artistic Works (FAIC), with funding from the Getty Foundation.
