One thing you can do to match current locations to actual exhibitions
(because TMS doesn't), is to use the "Description" field in the
locations authority to record the name of the current exhibition in that
space. Then check the "Public Access" box for that location and the
description will show for each current location. It takes some upkeep,
but I find it a very helpful way to let people know what's in what room
of the museum. We use the phrase "Currently: (exhibition name)" so past
locations aren't confused with the current show.
