Good day all!

For our incoming loan objects we have recently begun using the Container/Crate Authority to track incoming loan crates. We’re interested in how other institutions handle digital records of crates in TMS after an incoming loan has concluded. Do you set crates as inactive or do you just recycle the same group of crates by editing the info with new Crate Names, Dimensions, etc.?

The reason we’re hesitant to set the crates inactive is we worry that over time there would be a sizeable backlog of old, inactive crates.

Best,

Jeremy
