Hello,

The American Institute for Conservation (AIC) board has convened a
Task Force to develop a public lecture that will serve as an
introduction to the profession of conservation and to the AIC. Topics
include "What is conservation?" "What does a conservator do?" "How
does one find a conservator?".
This presentation will be available to AIC members upon request (using
CD-ROMS or other removable media).

We are currently looking for digital images to include in the
presentation that specifically illustrate damage on textiles due to
humidity or pest infestations. Sources for all images will be
carefully documented and each illustration will bear a credit line
visible in the final presentation.

Please send any images you would like to contribute to [log in to unmask]

Your participation is greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

Yadin
