A student is wondering if anyone has had success getting a hot melt
adhesive off the reverse of a linen painting canvas. She has tried
acetone, ethanol and xylene. Someone glued paper onto tears on the
canvas. Heating the areas just seems to make the adhesive go father
into the canvas.
