In December 2007 Dow sold the Ethafoam product line to Sealed Air Corp. Ethafoam is now part of their "Specialty Packaging market. It is my understanding, from speaking to their rep (a former Dow employee), that the product specifications have not been changed, whether this has been independently confirmed, I do not know. Subject: Re: Sourcing polyethylene

Since ethafoam is a tradename for Dow Chemical's polyethylene product, I would suggest locating your regional/local Dow distributor. Here in the Mid-Atlantic, this is Advanced Packaging in Baltimore (contact Buddy Frank, 410-358-9444); check their web site for other locations in the country.
