As I am reading a diary of another sorts lately... it might be interesting to see if 

1.  the word "josey" is written with a capital "J" and with a lower case "j" (i.e., proper name vs. generic name)?

2. is it consistently one way or the other?

3. it it different from the original diary entries v.s the edited version of the diary (e.g., is is one way in the quoted passages and another in the editor's commentary?)
