We recently udated our Cataloguing Manual using CCO as a loose
guideline. Because we are a contemporary museum, we run across objects
that defy standardization but CCO and various other sources help with
general practices.
We would be very interested in participating in a discussion about
that....please count us in!

I have done that for the YCBA and I am about to send our cataloguing
manual to Danielle. I did run into issues implementing CCO in TMS and a
CI session sounds great to talk about our various solutions to these
issues.

The Met is also about to embark on a mammoth standardization project. We
will be using CCO as a guide. I would love to hear how others are
translating the CCO standards to TMS fields. Has anyone done this?
It might be good to have a CCO session at the next Collective
Imagination conference in April. The Met will be hosting.

guide documents and using CCO as a reference. For each area of
cataloging I am defining crosswalks between TMS, CCO, and other schemas,
and documenting where our current practice differs from CCO. I'd love

I would love to hear from institutions who have customized TMS to
conform to CCO standards. There seems to be a lot of information on the
Internet about standard, but very little about the actual implementation
of the standard in a real live museum. Please contact me even if you are
