The approach we've taken for See Also relationships is to create a Status Flag = SEE ALSO that we assign to any record that has a See Also relationship in place. That gives us a visual cue in the upper right of each object record screen to look at the Related tab to find out more.
It is lucky that we did this as there appears to be a problem somewhere in TMS with retrieving all the See Also's via search. We've been working with Dimitry at GS to figure out exactly what's happening, but have not found the answer yet. So far, that Status Flag is the only consistent way to find all records we've assigned a See Also relationship. (The result totals we get searching for the relationship are hundreds of records off the true total available when searching via the Status Flag. We might never have realized this without having the flag in place.) We hope very much not to have to rely on this retrieval method going forward.
Cheers,
Frances
