Hi Michele, we have been bar coding for almost a year. I use regular Avery labels and a photocopier if doing sheets of them or a label printer for singles. I them stick them on archival shipping labels to the frames of prints, framed artwork, furniture etc. I haven't figured out how to apply them to paper. If you have any questions I would be glad to answer here or offline, Evelyn

Subject: Barcoding Works on Paper

We are implementing the TMS barcode software and barcoding our entire collection. For anyone that uses barcodes could you provide me some information on what you used to print the barcodes (a specific printer or a regular printer on an archival label template)? But, more specifically how and what did you use to apply barcodes to works on paper?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
