Hi Katie & Christine,
Check out the presentation I gave at this year's CI. It should be on the Gallery Systems website somewhere, or, if not, contact me off list and I'll email you a pdf of my presentation with notes.
We haven't used Thesaurus term linking from within the Conservation module but I love the idea. It would be esp. handy for linking to the AAT's materials facet or working with your conservators to populate a custom conservation terms list (or one used by the AIC?) in the Thesaurus.
Best,
Kate

I would be most interested in this as well! We are slowly but surely putting our Conservation screen together and I would appreciate any guides or tips! I want to include more than just reports and photographs in the conservation section, such as historical catalogue entries and related conservation research articles, but am not sure the best way to identify and link with thesaurus terms.
Many thanks in advance,

Subject: Conservation screen
Greetings colleagues!
We are about to embark on fleshing out the Conservation screen in the Objects module. A new employee is eager to use TMS for managing and sharing the information for which she is responsible, that of the conservation of photographs.
Although we have been using TMS since 2006, the Conservation screen has not been fully developed by our conservation staff. Now is our chance! I would appreciate any and all protocols, guides, and how-to's from those TMSers who are using this part of TMS to full advantage.
Many thanks for entertaining my request,
Christine
