Hi All,

Here in Illinois there are grants available through tourism that will assist
in production costs for a variety of promotional tools including brochures,
TV and radio spots, and newspaper advertisement. Grant amounts vary but
$20,000.00 to $30,000.00 was suggested to me as a reasonable asking number
for our project. These grants are restricted to promotional expenses only.

In addition, they will distribute brochures that are printed to their
specifications to all tourism kiosks throughout the state. These are racks
of brochures that are located at numerous points: rest areas, tourism
offices and other appropriate locations. Don't quote me, but I think a
minimum of 10,000 units was one of their requirements as well as color
brochures.
