We have been using phrases like "INV2015 L or INV2015 NL in the ObjLocation TempText field to mark objects located/not located in inventories. That way we can query on them again, and when located, update the location and the phrase with the current location. This is done by an Access query and associated form.

Subject: Creating Location Authority - "Not Located" or "Not Found"

Dear all,

I am curious if others have created a location authority in TMS for those items that are not located or found during inventory or during regularly scheduled object retrieval (for exhibitions, loan consideration, etc.)? If so, can you share how you manage this and how this looks in your database?

Many thanks,

Amanda
