I agree with Steve. We use the Remote Desktop app on iPads to quickly look up information if we're on the move. Data entry can very tedious unless you have very tiny fingers.

We use GoToMyPC to access TMS on our iPads. And I agree with Steve that data entry can be tedious on an iPad. Even though, I'm exploring using iPads to access TMS for an inventory project. Not sure how it's going to work out, but I think the experiment will be worth it.

Of course, the TMS client won't run directly on an iPad or any other non-Windows device, unless it can emulate Windows.
But if you are running the TMS client on a Windows workstation or server that has Remote Desktop running, then you can run a Remote Desktop app on your iPad to operate TMS by remote control.
It's not so bad if you want to quickly look up some information while you are in a storage area, say. I think prolonged usage or trying to do any serious data entry would be painful on an iPad, but I don't think we've really tried that.
