If this does become a subgroup, please add me to that list as well. Though I don't work directly with TMS, I work with a lot of people who do!

I’m interested in discussing this as well. We have film, video, sound, and computer-based works that don’t fit into our current templates.

Thanks!
Melissa

Hi Jared,

I'm currently assessing TMS (2012) for cataloguing film collections. Am very interested in discussing with others.

Thanks to Amber and David – I may contact you both off-list after my long weekend. It’s good to know that we’re not alone in this. We primarily have film elements that we’re cataloging, which does have different needs than video. Anyone also cataloging film?

Sort of. We have existing records but there’s been some disagreement about whether or not they are acceptable. We’re going to be taking a close look at them in the next few weeks and most likely planning a major overhaul. So maybe we can plan to share information!

Best regards,
Amber

Is anyone else out there in TMS-land cataloging moving image collections?
