I have 2 tips.
1. Use the thumbnailer that comes with the medialoader. It can pad images with any colour expressible in hex (we use c6c6c6 that's grey). Then the pictures look ok in reports. You can have a fixed size and don't need to use the "can grow".
2. There are problems with saving the reports that have pictures, all formats generates error's results. Printing them is OK so a workaround is to use a pdf printer (we use cutepdf - freeware - and it works just fine). Just use the print button and choose the pdf printer and it generates a pdf file.
Hope GS upgrades the support from 8.5 (!) to CR XI- that's the current version.

Ämne: Images in Crystal Reports
Hi folks,
Any good tricks or tips out there for minimizing image distortion in
Crystal Reports? We're having trouble with images that have wonky aspect
ratios - the narrows and the wides - appearing distorted in Crystal.
Thanks for any ideas/advice,
Jeri
