Hi Alicia,
Here is another basic formula that you can use to substitute your dimension field as needed, which will convert it to the approximate inch in decimals. Creating a view to isolate your specific dimension element can also be very useful to avoid the need for subreporting.
Round({Dimensions.Dimension}/2.54,3)]
