Everyone,
A former professor from Syracuse University, Mark Dolan, is making
traveling across the country sampling barbecue in different states and
documenting the stories of local barbecue cooks on his website. He's calling
himself the BBQ Pilgrim. Dolan's website is www.bbqpilgrim.com.
Here's a link to a newspaper article on Dolan's recent travels in central
South Carolina. There are really interesting points about how people look at
barbecue and the lengths they'll go to find what they like or prepare it.
