Good morning,
I did the update three months ago. If you don't have a web-server yet,
you have to install one before you start. It's for the thesaurus module.
The update itself worked fine.
pros:
I think it's slightly faster.
There are more security options in TMS 2014 e.g. thesaurus
manager-administrator or you can flag media files as confidential and
only users who have permission can see them.
You can now search for a department by name (drop-down-list) without the
need to know the prefix or anything.
cons:
If you use your own forms, created with form-designer, you get strange
error messages when you use a logo in these forms. And the
media-link-table does not look like in TMS2012, so that in the worst
case you can't read text. (see screenshot)
