Julie,

You are on the right track. Doug Kim at Watermind (in CA) provides the
Rosie posters, mugs, t-shirts, etc to the Smithsonian. We were able to
negotiate a reduced rate for last year's tour of PFV in MS, TN, and LA. He
needs to sell them by the case (36 mugs for instance), so we might consider
ways to let the communities share orders. Doug is very accommodating and
sells a high quality product. Tell him you are working with the Smithsonian
project and he should honor a discount (mugs $1.75 each rather than $2.99
each--if you buy a case; 144 magnets at $1.75 each; Rosie posters (29" x
24") at $3.75 each; and tatoos and stickers packs with 5 in a pack for $1.25
each pack)

For other PFV councils, you can reach him at Watermind, 6060 Thornhill
Drive, Oakland, CA 94611. His phone number is (510)339-3612. His e-mail
address is [log in to unmask] (note the "o" is a letter not a number)

Thanks, I will do all of the following. In the meantime I flipped
through the info handed out in Vegas and found a business card for
WaterMind, a place in CA that sells Rosie stuff. I've contacted them
and they'll give me a pretty good rate for Rosie posters.

Sorry to hear that you don't celebrate Valentine's Day. Chub and I had
a grand time - - we ate at RUNZA and then off to The Goodwill Store
for some thrifty shopping. We didn't find any must-haves, but I did
see a pretty cool Huffy Bike I might like to have.
