Hey Paul,

Good to hear from you. We've gotten off to a good start with NH in MS
and will be headed to our second location next week. I will definitely
pass your info along to my "Harmonears."

Happy Trails...
David

PS I saw Nickel Creek the other evening and am still blown away as to
how good they are. I'm sure you've seen them, if not: do so
sooooooooon!!!

Subject: New Harmonies resource

Hi everyone,

Those of you hosting, or preparing to host New Harmonies in your state
might be interested in the website www.folkstreams.net

The websites streams documentaries (free!) and about 75% of their
catalog is devoted to roots music. You'll find everything from Lomax's
"Land Where the Blues Began" to "Gandy Dancers" to films on New England
fiddlers.

Many of the films were made by well-known folklorists (well there's an
oxymoron for you). Thus, you'll find most of the rest of the titles
have to do with quilts, baskets, or something so incredibly obscure only
a folklorist would care about it. Enjoy.

Paul
