Dear All

The V&A is looking for an experienced upholstery conservator to
undertake an 8 month contract to prepare objects for the V&A’s new
Europe 1600-1800 Galleries, due to open in late 2014.

You will possess a recognised conservation qualification or equivalent
relevant training in upholstery conservation, and have at least 5 years
practical studio experience. You will be specifically required to have
experience of non-intrusive upholstery conservation techniques and have
knowledge of 17th and 18th century French upholstery materials and
profiles.

If you or anyone you know is interested please follow the link below to
the full advert and the online application form.
