Associate Conservator
Textiles

THE ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO is seeking a candidate that will be
responsible for the care and preservation of all physical textile objects
in the museum collection. Assists the curator in the installations of all
physical textile objects in the museum collection. Assists the
Curator-Conservator, ie Department Head in the installation of exhibitions,
care of the facilities, etc.

Qualifications:  Masters in Textile Conservation.  Must have 5 to 7+ years
experience in textile conservation.  Structural Analyses skills required.
Strong organizational skills. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
