Monitoring of Damage to Historic Tapestries (MODHT)
End of Project Workshop

A two day workshop to mark the completion of the European
Commission?supported MODHT project will take place at Hampton Court
Palace, England, on June 20-21, 2005. The project has focussed on
practical damage assessment for historical tapestries by relating
their construction materials and techniques to degradation
mechanisms that can be measured scientifically at the molecular
level. The workshop will therefore be relevant to conservators,
restorers, curators, conservation scientists, collection care
professionals and others interested in improving the care and
protection of tapestries.

The delegate cost for both days, including refreshments, lunches and
an evening reception in the prestigious Great Hall of Hampton Court
Palace, is UKP100. Places are limited, so early registration is
strongly advised.
