Subject: Textile Conservation Project

Good afternoon,

The Virginia National Guard Museum has posted a Request for Proposal for
conservation on our 1845-1846 American flag that was carried in the Mexican
American War. We are enthusiastic about this project, so we want to make
conservators aware of the posting.

For your convenience, I have attached a PDF of the complete RFP. You may
also view and respond to the post within eVA by using this link:
https://m.vendor.epro.cgipdc.com/Vendor/public/VBODetails.jsp?PageTitle=SO%2

=145726&BID_NO=RFP%23%20123%3A19-002&BID_VERS_NO=1

We will be accepting bids until 2:00 pm on March 29, 2019. As a state
government agency, we are restricted to working with vendors who register
within the eVA system, but registering is not time consuming. eVA is
Virginia's online, electronic procurement system. eVA is used by more than
13,000 state agency and local government buyers to announce bidding
opportunities, get quotes, and place orders for goods and services. You may
learn more or register with eVA by visiting:
https://eva.virginia.gov/pages/eva-overview.htm.

For information about certification with the Small, Women- and
Minority-owned Business Program (SWaM), see
https://www.sbsd.virginia.gov/faqs/.

If you have questions or need help registering with eVA or the SWaM
certification, do not hesitate to contact the Department of Small Business
and Supplier Diversity at (804) 786-6585 or [log in to unmask]

Please feel free to forward this email and its attachments to anyone who may
be interested. I would be happy to answer any questions you or others may
have.

Thank you,

Sarah Campbell
