At the Freer|Sackler, we use the ObjContext.Style field, and then since there are some variations, use a matching thesaurus keyword. Also recorded are keywords for "earthenware" and "stoneware" as well as glaze types. Very useful.

For collections with Asian ceramics that include ware and type (such as Jingdezhen ware or Arita ware, Ko-Imari type), which field(s) do you use to catalogue the ware and type?
