The checkboxes across the top of the data entry screen have always been extremely vulnerable to being accidentally clicked. I've inadvertently taken this on/off view and public access before. The "hot" area around each check box extends well beyond the text. Big problem!

This has been a huge problem for us. I'm so tired of fixing messed up Classifications. I wonder how many other TMS clients are dealing with this, and if it's enough to encourage Gallery Systems to take a look at a possible change.

Subject: Classification Salad
We are experiencing a quality control issue due to what can best be described as a generational shift.
Our users now instinctively attempt to browse data entry screens in the same manner they would a web page. They've become so accustomed to grabbing & dragging their way around that they forget TMS is not designed to navigate in that manner. However, the Classification field on the Objects data entry screen is extremely vulnerable to inadvertent changes when the cursor is clicked & scrolled in close proximity (this can also occur as users travel back and forth from the File menu), and we are increasingly encountering misclassifications.
We are alerting our data entry/edit users to be more mindful of the tendency. If you too find yourself with classification salad or other puzzling changes in drop-down fields, screen handling behavior could be a contributing factor.
