  1.  To store the relevant space codes from our space asset system to try and kludge the fact that there’s no way in TMS of recording how room /space names change over time (and that rooms (not spaces) change as rooms are split off from each other, or knocked together – so one room can have many codes because it now incorporates multiple spaces). We use the FF date field to identify the date from which the space was known by the name identified in the Location record; I’d prefer to / from dates but as I said, this is a kludge.


  1.
