Collection and Exhibition Management System (CEMS) Assistant | Collection and Exhibition Technologies 
Represents Collection and Exhibition Technologies department in meetings with users of the Museum's collections management software, The Museum System (TMS). Maintains TMS helpdesk and provides first level assistance to Museum staff regarding use of TMS and reports. Conducts one-on-one or small group training for new users. Creates new TMS reports and modifies existing reports with Business Objects Crystal Reports software. Coordinates with Information Technology department to resolve functional issues, requiring technical acumen for these specific software systems. Provides data entry assistance as well as maintains and documents data entry standards and procedures for object records and digital media. Reports to Manager, Collection and Exhibition Technologies.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in art history or related field. Strong computer skills (MS Office, Access).  2-3 years experience with The Museum System software or other collections management database. Proficiency with Business Objects Crystal Reports software or other reporting program. Ability to work independently. Excellent organizational, writing, proofreading, and analytical skills, with close attention to detail.
