Thanks Angie - I should probably clarify my request for info - I'm looking for statistical information about museums charging fees for access to their on-line, digital collections, and specifically, if they are generating any significant revenue. I don't think there's much information out there. This would include access to images and information, and not just image sales. I did some searching on the internet, and found a few interesting articles, but nothing really concrete with charts and graphs. I need charts and graphs unfortunately. Anyone got charts and graphs? :) Allison .................................................................. .................................................................. the warhol: Allison A. We have a request form with fee schedule we send out whenever anyone asks for images. We generally waive the fee for other museums. I'd be happy to send you our form to your work email if you'd like. I'm looking for available statistics about the success of generating revenue for the museum in this manner. I'm also interested in learning about institutions which considered this idea, but rejected it, and why. I would be very interested in touching base with anyone who knows of, or has been part of such a project and discussing this subject.
