I know that there are a lot of
Crystal Reports wizards out there and I hope that one of you can help me
out. I am trying to create a formula that returns the value of a string
without the first three characters. As far as I can tell, I need to write
a function something to the effect of…

len({CnPrProp_1.CnPrProp_1_Status})

Basically what I’m trying to do is
use the “right” function to pull the number of characters returned to by the
len() evaluation of the string, less three (to drop the first three
characters). I’m not sure about the proper syntax, or the correct way to
actually create the function in
