Dear Ashley,
Although we do not yet put bibliography information on the
web, our library uses it for the public a great deal.
When a library patron asks for publications about a
particular object, the library runs a report that lists the bib information on
all the publications in our library about that object and gives the report to
the patron. This information is derived from records in the Bibliography
Module, not from the field on the documentations tab in the Objects Module.
At the MFA, our library staff has taken on the
responsibility for creating new bibliography records as publications are
acquired, and for linking our objects to the new record.

Subject: eMuseum and Bibliography Module
Hello TMS users-
Do any museums out there make public the information in the
bibliographic module of TMS? Our library is beginning to use this module, but
wants to know the possibilities of making this accessible through our website.
Any websites, or information is appreciated.
Thanks,
Ashley
