It has been a pleasure and a privilege working with you and representing state humanities councils in the Museum on Main Street program. As the project has matured and grown over the past 10 years, so has the level of expertise demonstrated in your state tours. Your work with and commitment to small towns and small museums in your states is truly remarkable and will continue to leave lasting legacies at the local level—some we never even imagined. Keep up the great work.
I want to especially thank Esther Mackintosh and John Matthews at the Federation for their leadership and commitment to the project, and Brian Crockett and Teresa Goforth, for their hard work, dedication and the many, many miles logged on behalf of state councils. Working with them, and all the rest of you, has been a highlight of my professional career. I wish you all the best with your upcoming tours and all the many other wonderful programs that you undertake on behalf of the humanities.
Warm regards, always-
LuAnn Kern
