Dear MoMS friends:
We have been following for a few years now the development of
the Standards and Excellence Program for History Organizations (StEP) by the
American Association of State and Local History. Many of you know about
this already, but for those who don’t you might want to learn more about
how StEP materials would be an excellent way for state humanities councils to
provide targeted technical assistance to the small museums that host
MoMS. Training associated with the StEP program is an excellent use for your
STAR Funds.
So, I thought you might want to know about the AASLH webinar
coming up for service providers on April 8, 2010. Please see the information
below. If you have any questions about how this fits into the MoMS world,
please give us a call and we would be happy to discuss it further with you.
