We use Exhibition History field to keep track of the exhibits in which our objects have appeared. The field is included on the SAM web site under Collections, via eMuseum for researchers and students to access. We also link objects to the exhibits module however that information doesn't appear on the web. I have created a report that combines this field with the exhibition information in the Exhibitions module so's to have a complete exhibition history. It's not pretty, but I can export it to an rtf file and clean it up. We never use that field because it seems redundant. We try to capture exhibition history with the actual exhibitions module or loans. So I'm just wondering if anyone is using the Exhibition History field and what benefit there might be to using it, other than making including exhibition history in reports fairly straightforward.
