Hi Kim,

If I understand your question correctly, in TMS (not DBConfig) you have
to go to Maintenance, Reports, Public Tab, Edit and then on right side
there is the Users/Security Groups window. There you can add the
security groups or users that are allowed to see each report you've
added. You can select them all at once or just specific groups and
users.

Best,

Chrisy

Subject: Security Groups & Reports Access

Hi All,

So we are still in the process of getting our TMS (2010) up and running
here--having purchased and implemented in only 13 months ago. So far
only 3 staff members have been using it (as System Admins because we
have been building all the records), but we are about to embark on
having other Museum staff in the system soon.
We are working on customizing our different View Only security groups
currently for this purpose, but have hit a snag. We can't figure out how
to allow users with View Only access to run reports. I figured out in
DBConfig how to get Fact Sheets, but not any of the Crystal Reports.
Currently when in a Object Record, if you go up to Reports-->Reports
there are no options when the window opens, just blanks where the report
titles and then descriptions would be.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to make this happen? Any
input is much appreciated!

Thanks,
Kim
