If you have an SQL whiz in-house, I believe you can reset the component's HomeLocationID to -1 to "unassign" the home location. I haven't done it in a long time, but if memory serves, -1 is the magic number! --Jessica Jessica Milby Collections Information Project Manager Philadelphia Museum of Art 215-684-7283 [log in to unmask] -----Original Message----- From: The Museum System (TMS) Users [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Patty Tainter Sent: Thursday, September 13, 2012 11:11 AM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Home locations - unassigning Hi all, Does anyone know how to unassign home locations? Our works don't have home locations, but they were assigned during the data migration from our old database. I'd like to unassign them for all the works, so if you know a batch method, that would be perfect. Or I could just go in one by one if you know how-that's fine too. Many thanks, Patty Tainter -- Patricia Virasin Tainter Assistant Registrar Kimbell Art Museum 3333 Camp Bowie Blvd. Fort Worth, TX 76107 ph: 817-332-8451 ext 212 f: 817-877-1264 To unsubscribe, send an email to [log in to unmask] with the following commands in the body of the email: signoff TMSUSERS // eoj You will receive a confirmation that your subscription has been removed.
