There is a TMS barcode plug-in that was demonstrated by Sascha at the last UK TMS user group meeting. It's purpose is to update TMS with location changes. Tate are hoping to run a small pilot next year. I wonder if we are alone on this front or if other museums have thought about this problem as well and have already found more efficient ways or means. Is barcoding of objects a possible solution, as far as I am informed it simplifies the identification of objects, but does/can it help recording location changes as well? Or maybe, does a plugin/application solve the problem? I would be very thankful for any experience or suggestion on this matter! Many thanks and best regards, Katharina Szlezak Mit freundlichem Gruß NÖ Landesregierung Im Auftrag MMag.
