Count me in for group if it is formed, we are also evaluating our current cataloguing standards for FVNM material including born digital or digital surrogates.

I would also like to get in on this if anyone is starting an informal subgroup list. We have some film that isn’t on the immediate horizon for cataloging, but
I’d like to have some idea of what other are doing when we get there.
Diane.

Hi Jared,
I'm currently assessing TMS (2012) for cataloguing film collections. Am very interested in discussing with others.

Thanks to Amber and David – I may contact you both off-list after my long weekend. It’s good to know that
we’re not alone in this. We primarily have film elements that we’re cataloging, which does have different needs than video. Anyone also cataloging film?

Sort of. We have existing records but there’s been some disagreement about whether or
not they are acceptable. We’re going to be taking a close look at them in the next few weeks and most likely planning a major overhaul. So maybe we can plan to share information!
Best regards,
Amber

Is anyone else out there in TMS-land cataloging moving image collections?
