Kristen: We are using TMS to record historic structures here at Colonial Williamsburg as well. Architectural Historian Jeff Klee ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>) would be happy to talk to you about our approach. -Lisa _________________________________ Lisa Fischer Director of the Digital History Center The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> www.history.org<http://www.history.org> From: The Museum System (TMS) Users [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Jared Case Sent: Tuesday, April 23, 2013 1:53 PM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: Architectural collections in TMS There was a great presentation on just this kind of use at Collective Imagination. Our board is looking for a way to not only document the historic aspects of each structure such as moldings and doorways, but also as a means to create a maintenance/conservation schedule & reports for things like roofs. Any thoughts or ideas would be most welcome!
