So, has anyone tried to attach a GIF as a media record file? Someone on staff just put together a GIF for a blog on costume closures (http://manuscripts.wordpress.com/2013/06/20/closure-it-can-be-complicated/ for anyone who is interested), and we thought it would be great to be able to add it to the Object Record. I've very little experience working with GIFs, so am not even sure if they are considered an image or video in terms of adding it to the Media Types authorities, or if TMS would be able to 'run' it. (I am not insulted by anyone laughing at me right now J ). Any advice or help is welcome! Thanks, Diane. ================================================================== Diane Lee | Collections Manager <mailto:[log in to unmask]> [log in to unmask] | (860) 236-5621 x(242) Connecticut Historical Society | One Elizabeth Street | Hartford, CT 06105 | <http://www.chs.org/> www.chs.org <http://www.chs.org/calendar> Upcoming Events | <http://www.chs.org/membership> Membership | <http://store.chs.org/donate/> Donate | <http://www.chs.org/volunteer> Volunteer Visit us on <http://www.facebook.com/CTHistoricalSociety> Facebook and <http://twitter.com/connhistsoc> Twitter @ConnHistSoc To unsubscribe, send an email to [log in to unmask] with the following commands in the body of the email: signoff TMSUSERS // eoj You will receive a confirmation that your subscription has been removed.
