We are now accepting submissions for Dyes in History and Archaeology     33, which will be taking place at the University of Glasgow,     Scotland, UK on October 30th and 31st, 2014. The conference is     organised by the Centre for Textile Conservation and Technical Art     History and will include an array of social events. DHA meetings are     dedicated to the interdisciplinary exchange of the latest research     in the history, production, application, characterisation, and     preservation of natural and synthetic dyes and organic pigments     relevant to cultural heritage and the arts worldwide. The meetings     aim to attract scholars, students, heritage professionals and     independent researchers across the humanities, sciences, arts,     history, ethnography and conservation from local, national and     international universities, research institutions and heritage     organisations.

   Presentations at DHA 33 will be given as oral papers (20 minutes) and printed posters (A0 portrait). Emphasis is on interdisciplinary and applied research for understanding and interpreting dyes in an archaeological and historical cultural context. Papers and posters will be selected from submitted written abstracts (500 words
maximum) by a peer-review panel. Abstracts must be received by Friday 30th May, 2014. Please refer to further instructions in the template (attached) regarding format.
