I’m happy to report that, based on this discussion, we’ve been able to include search and replace for null values as a new feature in the soon-to-be-released
TMS 2014. Thanks again for your suggestions and for helping extend the features of TMS.

Funny this appears now - I was also trying to perform this (unsuccessfully) earlier this week and had started an email to send out and see if anyone else knew of a way to do this. It would be extremely useful and time saving!

Wondering if anyone has any tricks for me. I’m working on groups of bulk loaded records, and trying to update the Cataloguer Field using the Search and Replace utility. Currently
the field has nothing in it, and I want to add the cataloguers name to all the records so we don’t have to do it record by record.
I am able to do it when there is something in the field, but if I don’t put anything in the Search it just sits there and doesn’t do a thing.
Anyone have any ideas what I could put into the field to get it to work?
