Hi Cathryn,

Here at the AGO we track that information inside a conservation record associated with an object. We have line items for: lighting requirements, matting, framing, etc. Also under summary of the conservation record, in the project field we specify a particular exhibition title.

Hope this helps,

Olga.

Subject: tracking installation requirements

Hi everyone –

We are interested in the methods others are using to track needs specific to internal installations – such as light levels / mount requirements / framing and matting needs etc.  Some of these things are constant for an object (light levels) while others are specific to an installation or of a more transactional nature.

Thanks in advance –

Cathryn
