Hi all

I am looking at using ESRI shape files and mapping in SSRS for making some reports to allow users to explore the collection using geo data. In order to do this I need to convert LongitudeNumber and LatitudeNumber data using SQL geography data types. This works fine and I can plot objects on a map as expected.

My problem is what is the best way to add the LongitudeNumber and LatitudeNumber data to the thesaurus when we have added the place names ourselves. Does anyone do this and if so how? I would be grateful for your advice on this as we will be using the mapping tool and geo data quite a bit.
